Publications (1975-1986) of the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) include LIRS publicity material; "Face to Face" orientation brochures, manuals, workbooks, and supplements for U.S. Lutheran congregations sponsoring refugees; LIRS newsletters including "For Your Information" (1982-1987), "LIRS Bulletin" (1980, 1982, 1985), and "LIRS Bulletin Board (1980-1985); publications concerning the LIRS program; news clipping packets containing articles on refugee groups; and "Welcome Orientation Brochures" and other works published for refugees in their native languages. Refugee groups addressed by the publications include the Vietnamese, Indochineses, Cambodians, Laotians, Chileans, other Latin Americans, the Hmong, Cubans, and Haitians. Some publications are in languages such as Vietnamese and Khmer, as well as English.
